I have a 2016 with a standard style key with a rubber coating on it. the case is nice and all BUT with the key installed the case is ever so slightly to big to fit in the plastic trim that surrounds the key hole. It feels like I’m going to break the key off in the ignition every time I use it. We do like the design though and will be ordering other accessories from y’all shortly for the jeep.

The Injection Cover is a simple two piece plastic cover that protects the factory key. For Jeep Wranglers and other Chrysler applications using the same factory key. Injection molded of high strength and impact resistant ABS plastic. This design bolts together with socket head cap screws for a rugged and straightforward approach. Does not require any disassembly or destruction of the factory key, completely reversible. This cover does add size and may not be fully compatible with door locks on some models. Assembly requires 7/64" allen key (included). Made in USA.
